Junbei Foods started with a simple frustration: making a proper bowl of beef noodle soup means buying a dozen spices you'll barely use again. And the premix packets already on the shelf? They don't taste right. We wanted to fix both problems.
Why we started
Try making Taiwanese beef noodle soup at home and you'll hit the same wall we did: star anise, Sichuan peppercorn, cinnamon bark, dried chili, bay leaves — the grocery run alone is a project. Most of those jars sit in the back of your cabinet until you throw them out.
So you grab a premix packet instead. But they're either loaded with additives, missing half the spices, or just don't taste like the real thing. We got tired of settling, so we made our own — tested with family, with friends, and with home cooks who'd never attempted the dish before. One packet, accurate flavor, no compromises.

You shouldn't need ten jars to make one dish. One packet, everything you need, nothing wasted.
Better than the packets on the shelf
We use whole spices in the right proportions — no fillers, no MSG, no mystery powders. If it doesn't taste like the real thing, we don't ship it.
Food is connection
